Hi, I’m Rachael: Mom of three, certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, special education teacher, and lover of all things organized. I’ve always found joy in the little details that make life feel calmer and more put together.

What’s a CPST?

A Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) is a nationally certified professional trained to help families properly install and use car seats. At Spruce CLE, we ensure that your child’s seat is installed correctly, fits your vehicle, and is appropriate for your child’s age, height, and weight. We also provide hands-on education so you feel confident using your car seat every day. From safe installation to post-cleaning reassembly checks, our goal is to give you peace of mind that your child is traveling as safely as possible.

You clean… car seats?

Yep! And strollers. And wagons. And the occasional activity center or baby swing, too! This is the service I wish was available when I had three car seats snuggly fit across the back row of my minivan! Spruce CLE allows me to provide careful, manual-guided cleaning that gives you peace of mind. Parents, I know that if you had the spare minutes, you’d tackle this chore yourself. Until then, I got you!

Why Spruce CLE?

We’re a fully-formed and insured LLC that operates with safety in mind. I read and follow manual cleaning guidelines for every single seat that enters my workspace. Attention to detail goes beyond the seats, too. I sanitize work stations and cleaning instruments between clients, cover my workbench with disposable sheeting, and run an air purification system when working. Why? Car seats can be icky!

A Small Family Business

I run Spruce CLE out of my home in Seven Hills, Ohio, where I accept a limited number of appointments each week. My goal isn’t just to clean gear, it’s to provide quality service, and to lessen the load of local families.

When I’m not teaching or cleaning, you’ll likely find me out in the garden or on a run, recharging for the busy days ahead. Spruce CLE is more than just a small business—it’s a way to bring a bit more ease and joy to my neighbors here in Northeast Ohio.
